This Essay is Part 2 of 2 parts, which discusses Deuteronomy 12.13-16.

For this Torah Essay, I discuss that Moses makes the distinction between animals sacrificed to Jehovah and animals ‘sacrificed’ (slaughtered) for human consumption.

In this Essay, I also present some of why I interpret that within Deuteronomy Moses is not presenting completely new material to Israel.
